Policies and Procedures

  • Feeding and medication administration will be completed as requested per the dog’s normal routine.
  • All dogs are fed individually and securely away from other dogs
  • All dogs will have individual or group walks throughout the day, at min every 5 hours and NEVER off-leash.
  • All dogs are kept in individual areas and are only in play groups of 3 or less with a human present.
  • If signs of aggression are identified, and if such incident occurs, the dog will be kenneled individually for the remainder of their stay.
  • All clients can view dog play areas and kennel areas by requesting a link to WYZE and uploading the app to their smartphones
  • Professional Dog Mom will communicate any issues or concerns with human client immediately upon identification.
  • The client agrees to be responsible for any expense or cost that is above and beyond that which is provided by Professional Dog Mom’s liability insurance
  • Drop-Off’s and Pick-Ups are between 6am and 9pm, 7 days a week, 365 days a year by appointment only
  • The center is staffed 24 hours a day so Drop-Off’s and Pick-Ups can be scheduled between 9pm and 6am for an additional $25 fee
  • Required vaccines: Rabies, Distemper, Parvovirus, Bordetella and Canine Influenza (NV Residents only)
  • Have a tag with a phone number
  • Have a snug collar/harness – dog cannot slip out
  • Be house trained
  • Human Friendly
  1. Bring food, toys, bedding and confirm items are checked in along with dog
  2. Provide electronic copy of the vaccination records on clinic letterhead, must include expiration dates

Scheduling – ProDogMom confirms reservations on a first-come, first service basis. All reservations are confirmed via the DoTimely App.

Timing – All bookings are schedule in our calendars to begin at a specific time. We ask that you notify us if that time needs to be changed so we can plan accordingly.

Urgent Bookings – All overnight boarding services requested to begin within 72 hours of requested start time will incur a $15 fee. All day care services requested to begin within 24 hours of requested start time with incur a $5 urgent fee.

Holidays – ProDogMom accepts reservations 365 days a year, although there is a holiday rate of $15 for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years holidays.

Payments – Payment is due after services have been provided, at time of Pick-Up. Payment types accepted are credit card, debit card, ACH, Paypal, and Venmo.

Cancellation Fees – Clients must provide a minimum of 24 hour cancellation notice for Day Care and a minimum of 72 hour cancellation notice for overnight boarding services. For cancellations violating these time periods, there is a $20 fee for Day Care reservations and $30 for overnight boarding reservations.

Privacy Policy – All client information is kept private and confidential. ProDogMom takes pride in NOT selling or sharing client data.

  1. Services scheduled may need to be altered or interrupted. During inclement weather, all cancellation fees are waived.
  2. All dogs in danger will be taken to a safe location, to be determined by Professional Dog Mom and Douglas County Standard Evacuation Procedures.

In preparation, keep a Professional Dog Mom business card with you while traveling.
