After 28 years as a Global Supply Chain Analyst, living and working all over the world, I traded in my corporate badge for a dog leash. I have been a dedicated dog owner and animal activist my entire life. Being able to combine my business skills and my love for dogs to create Professional Dog Mom has been a life long ambition. Besides being a small business owner, a certified dog trainer, and a full time Dog Mom, I am also an active volunteer for the Nevada Humane Society in Reno and Carson City. I am certified by Catch Dog Training Academy, FearFree Dog Trainer, FetchFind Dog Handling, PSI-Pet Sitters International, and a certified First Aid/CPR Instructor for PetEmergencyEducation.

Growing up I was surrounded by farm animals and always had dogs and cats around. After I moved out of my parents house, I continued to surround myself with as many animals as possible, quickly realizing that being around dogs is what I really craved. I have lived in Reno my whole life and graduated from UNR with a Bachelors degree in Biology in 2019. I currently work as a technician in skin cancer and feel lucky I am able to spend my free time working with your pups! I also enjoy hiking, traveling, and spending my days out at the lake. I ‘m so excited to meet and have the opportunity to enrich your pups life!

Some of my first Sitting clients were my neighbors and their small pack of foster dogs with a wide range of quirks and personalities. Since that first Sit, I’ve always loved meeting and caring for new pets and getting to know them so that they and their families can feel comfortable and secure while they’re in my care. I am a freelance artist and writer who also enjoys learning everything I can about canine enrichment and training. No matter what your pet’s personality, I am so excited to provide care and assurance to both you and them.

When I was a kid, I was always trying to rescue whatever animal needed help. My passion for dog training began when I got my first Boston Terrier. My goal has always been creating a more peaceful home one pup at a time. Whether it is training or pet sitting, know that your pups become my pups and will get the best care I can provide.

I’ve been fascinated by animals for as long as I can remember. As a kid I would bring home stray cats, lizards missing legs, and fallen chicks that couldn’t fly. As an adult, I still love to surround myself with animals at home and at my career job as a veterinary assistant. I’m so excited to meet your furred, feathered and scaled kiddos with my hobby job as a ProDogMom Nanny!

I enjoy encompassing my life around as many animals as possible, they are my true joy. Luckily, for the last few years I’ve had the privilege of working at our local adoption shelter and have had a multitude of opportunities to spend time with dogs. I honestly can’t imagine my life without them. In collaboration with the shelter’s mission and the ProDogMom mission, The Humane Society‘s mission is to support the Reno/Sparks community, saving and providing medical care to every pet possible. In addition to working closely with Washoe County Animal Control, the shelter and ProDogMom share the same views, philosophies and have the same set of goals, to provide as much support to pet parents and pets themselves to ensure a positive human/canine relationship. I’m happy to work towards this goal with both the Humane Society and Professional Dog Mom.
