After a long and successful corporate career, living and working all over the world, I swapped my ID badge for a dog leash. I have been a dedicated dog owner and animal activist my entire life. Being able to combine my business skills and my love for dogs to create Professional Dog Mom has been a life long ambition. Besides being a small business owner, a certified dog trainer, and a full time Dog Mom, I am also an active volunteer for the Nevada Humane Society in Reno and Carson City. As a dog trainer, I am certified by Catch, FearFree, PACCC, and IBPSA. I am also a FetchFind certified dog handler, a member of PSI-Pet Sitters International, and a certified First Aid/CPR Instructor for PetEmergencyEducation.

Growing up I was surrounded by farm animals and always had dogs and cats around. After I moved out of my parents house, I continued to surround myself with as many animals as possible, quickly realizing that being around dogs is what I really craved. I have lived in Reno my whole life and graduated from UNR with a Bachelors degree in Biology in 2019. I currently work as a technician in skin cancer and feel lucky I am able to spend my free time working with your pups! I also enjoy hiking, traveling, and spending my days out at the lake. I ‘m so excited to meet and have the opportunity to enrich your pups life!

Some of my first Sitting clients were my neighbors and their small pack of foster dogs with a wide range of quirks and personalities. Since that first Sit, I’ve always loved meeting and caring for new pets and getting to know them so that they and their families can feel comfortable and secure while they’re in my care. I am a freelance artist and writer who also enjoys learning everything I can about canine enrichment and training. No matter what your pet’s personality, I am so excited to provide care and assurance to both you and them.

I’ve been fascinated by animals for as long as I can remember. As a kid I would bring home stray cats, lizards missing legs, and fallen chicks that couldn’t fly. As an adult, I still love to surround myself with animals at home and at my career job as a veterinary assistant. I’m so excited to meet your furred, feathered and scaled kiddos with my hobby job as a ProDogMom Nanny!

Hi, I’m Nicole! I spent my whole childhood playing with family and neighborhood pets 🙂 My household growing up had a number of rescued and adopted Pugs, but my adoration extends to many breeds. I have always loved the opportunity to love on other people’s pets! I am currently a graduate student who is exploring the healing relationships of connection with community, nature, art and those we hold closest to our hearts. The human-canine relationship is such a special and healing experience! I cannot wait to meet your fur babies & I look forward to providing a calm and loving presence for your animals, just as I would for my own.
